deli-vert is a small family run delicatessen based in Chester that
has been opened to offer tasty, high quality produce and ready to eat foods to take away.
Cheshire produce features high in our stock list as well as ingredients inspired by our favourite dishes.
We have:

27/05/2008: Homemade Greek Salad and Cheshire Asparagus
New this week isour fresh colourful homemade greek salad, now available from our deli-counter each day. Try some for a light supper or with some fresh bread for lunch! Also just in is some wonderful local Cheshire asparagus from Delamere. Quick! Limited period only!!
08/05/2008: New Bags Coming Soon!
New deli-vert 'bags for life' will be coming soon. 300 have been ordered and should be with us in around 1 month. Price expected to be around £2.00 for a green jute bag with deli-vert, Hoole logo.

March was a very bsy month in the deli and sales of cheese have been very high. The 5 best selling cheeses in March were:

06/04/2008: deli-vert scoops top award!
deli-vert won Gold at the Chester Food and Drink Festival in the local produce shop of the year category. Our 50/50 strategy really helped us take the top spot and we'll continue to support and stock quality local produce as well as deli foods from farther afield.
26/02/2008: Award Nomination!
We are delighted to announce our nomination for Best Local Produce Shop at the Chester Food and Drink Awards. From local pies and cakes to cheeses, hams, eggs, bread, biscuits, juice and now even handmade local bread we are proud to support local produce and are always looking to expand our local focus. We'll keep the site updated with how it all goes!!!
04/02/2008: New Stock!
At deli-vert we are trying out new stock all the time and this week we have new lines by Cottage Delight, Spanks, The English Provender Co. and we are also trying new breads inc sourdough and wholemeal French Sticks! Later this week, semi-sundried tomatoes and feta filled peppers arrive!
